Job summary

Continuum Hospice is seeking a self-motivated RN Clinical Liaison to lead outreach to hospitals and medical facilities in Rhode Island. The role focuses on identifying referral sources and establishing ongoing relationships to increase census and brand presence in the community.

The RN liaison will use clinical expertise, compassionate communication, and marketing skills to educate families and providers about hospice services, ensuring exceptional patient and customer care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Current unencumbered registered nurse license.
• Minimum one year of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• One to two years’ experience in hospice/palliative marketing strongly preferred.
• Skilled at establishing/maintaining relationships with key staff and accounts.
• Willing to drive with reliable transportation and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Identifies primary decision makers and builds relationships with medical community partners.
• Promotes Hospice services through regular visits to demonstrate quality of care.
• Works to position the hospice as the preferred provider in the service area to grow census.
• Makes regular calls to secure new referrals, build census, and meet goals with physicians and facilities.
• Assists in determining patient eligibility based on hospice knowledge and training.
• Conducts initial meetings with patients and families to explain hospice philosophy and obtain consent for care.
