Empath Health is seeking an RN PRN to join our hospice team serving southwest Florida. Under physician direction, you will assess patients, manage symptoms, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG).

The role requires a Florida RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of acute-care experience; hospice experience and CHPN are favored. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing education support.

Competenze

Graduate of approved nursing program and current unrestricted Florida RN license.
Valid and current CPR certification required.
Minimum one year experience in an acute-care Hospital environment providing direct patient care; hospice RN preferred.
CHPN certification encouraged within three years of employment.
BSN or MSN preferred.

Mansioni

Under physician direction, manages discomfort and provides symptom relief with palliative care.
Assesses impact of terminal diagnosis on physical, functional, psychosocial, and environmental needs and activities of daily living.
Collaborates with Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) to develop and update the plan of care; initiates referrals and preventive procedures.
Educates patient, family, and caregivers about disease, care interventions, dying process, and safety practices.
