Job summary

Allied Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee the primary caseload of hospice patients and deliver skilled nursing care in compliance with Hospice Medicare Conditions of Participation and Pennsylvania licensure laws.

The role includes initial assessments, developing and implementing the IDT plan of care, and collaborating with team members to meet patient and family needs. Supervisory responsibilities for Hospice Aides/Homemakers are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification preferred.
• Must hold a current Pennsylvania RN license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee primary caseload of hospice patients and provide skilled nursing care.
• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments and develop IDT plan of care.
• Implement and reevaluate the care plan in collaboration with the IDT.
• Provide supervision to Hospice Aides/Homemakers and ensure quality patient care.
