Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active licensure to practice in state of operation.
• Minimum one year nursing experience; three+ years preferred.
• Hospice or similar setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create hospice care plans aligned with patient wishes and goals.
• Direct nursing care: administer medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management and comfort measures.
• Educate and support patient families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and maintain timely documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.
