The position is full-time with weekdays, day shift (9 AM–5 PM) in Meridian, Idaho. Valid RN license, CPR, and hospice experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• 1 year hospice experience preferred; minimum RN experience in hospice or related setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for home visits.
• Current CPR certification and hospice regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with electronic medical records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care including pain and symptom management.
• Coordinate and supervise hospice aides and healthcare staff.
• Communicate with patients, families, and physicians about progress.
• Monitor patient well-being and support end-of-life care with dignity.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to align care with patient wishes.
• Ensure compliance with hospice guidelines and documentation requirements.
• Provide bereavement support to families when needed.
• Participate in team meetings and address barriers to goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
