Procare-Hospice-of-Nevad in Las Vegas, NV seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct palliative care within an approved plan of care. You will triage emergencies, coordinate with the hospice team, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered services in a home or facility setting.

The role requires NV RN licensure, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work with families facing terminal illness. On-call coverage, on-site visits, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nevada.
• Prefer 1 year of hospice/home health/geriatric RN experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Must read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Background check and pre-employment screening required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Fosters and maintains effective relationships with patients, families, and team members.
• Adheres to individualized Plan of Care established by interdisciplinary team.
• Manages overall care and coordinates hospice disciplines for assigned patients.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the Hospice Medical Director and team.
• Provides nursing assessments, medication management, and comfort measures.
