Job summary

Socket.dev in Las Vegas, NV is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct palliative care to terminally ill patients within an approved plan of care, coordinating with the hospice interdisciplinary team to address patient needs and goals.

You will document clearly, report to the Hospice Medical Director and team, supervise aides, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and support families emotionally while complying with Nevada Nursing Practice Act and agency policies;

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nevada.
• Prefer hospice, home health, or geriatric care experience.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct palliative care within an individualized Plan of Care.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to achieve patient goals.
• Document care, report changes, and communicate with physicians and family.
• Supervise CNAs and LPNs; participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
• Ensure timely, legible documentation and adherence to policies.
