Job summary

Ohio’s Hospice seeks a Hospice RN for a full-time day shift (M-F, 8am–5pm) delivering compassionate care to patients in Dayton and surrounding areas, including facilities and homes. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with families and the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include an RN license in Ohio, ASN or BSN; CPR, CHPN preferred; two years of acute care experience preferred; valid driver’s license and ability to drive in

Hospice RN – Making every moment matter

This is Full Time day shift M-F 8am-5pm position. This is a driving position delivering care to patients living in facilities and homes within the Dayton/Trotwood area

As a Hospice RN you will plan and deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, families and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.

Hospice RN Qualifications:

RN's - Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions. Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred.

• CPR Certified
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment. (Eligible upon completion of 500 hours in last 12 months of hospice/palliative experience.)
• Computer skills are sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
