Job summary

Beyond Hospice, part of Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for After-Hours Triage in Oakdale, MN. This per diem role supports hospice patients and families during evenings and overnights, with a schedule of 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Looking for an RN role that offers independence, meaningful hospice work, and 7 days off at a time?

Beyond Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – After-Hours Triage to support hospice patients and families during evening and overnight hours.

Schedule & Pay

• 8:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m.
• $48.70-$56.66/hr.
• Preferred schedule: 7 nights on / 7 days off
• $200 per on-call shift
• In-person visits are paid separately at the applicable RN hourly rate
• Provide telephone triage and make patient visits when clinically necessary

What You’ll Do

• Provide after-hours telephone triage for hospice patients and families
• Assess symptoms and determine appropriate interventions
• Make in-person visits when needed
• Provide comfort-focused nursing care and symptom management
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with physicians and the hospice interdisciplinary team
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Current Minnesota RN license
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work confidently and independently
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Hospice, home health, acute care, or triage experience preferred
