Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide hospice care for patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. The role includes after-hours on-call duties, admissions, and routine patient visits to manage symptoms and comfort.

Applicants must hold an active RN license with at least one year of experience and be able to travel across the service area, collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to support families and uphold hospice standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (in good standing) with one year of experience.
• Admissions and On-call experience preferred.
• Works well within a team with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
• Ability to learn an EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for hospice patients across home, facility, and hospital settings.
• Complete admissions and patient visits as needed.
• Answer calls from patients, families, and customers; communicate effectively.
• Perform symptom management, end-of-life care, and patient advocacy.
• Be willing to drive across the service area with reliable transportation.
