Zusammenfassung

Miracle City Hospice is seeking an RN Admissions Nurse to join our compassionate team delivering end-of-life care. You will evaluate admission suitability, educate families, obtain consent, and develop initial plans of care focused on comfort and quality of life.

You should be an RN licensed in the state, CPR certified, with a hospice mindset and strong patient communication. Excellent benefits, PTO, and a supportive work environment are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
• Must possess current CPR Certification.
• 1 year Hospice experience, preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, and staff.
• Knowledgeable of quality assessment and assurance procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform pre-admission evaluations for the appropriateness of services.
• Initiates the admission process by educating and informing patients/families of its services.
• Obtains informed consent
• Provides nursing assessment, initial plan of care, and intervention(s) that optimize patient and family-directed comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice
• Must possess current CPR Certification
• 1 year of Hospice experience, preferred
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and the general public
