Queen City Hospice in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse – Hospice Admissions to join a dedicated team. The RN will conduct pre-admission evaluations, educate patients and families, obtain consent, and initiate admission while developing personalized care plans and delivering interventions that maximize comfort and dignity.

This role emphasizes independent practice with compassionate communication in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Hospice experience preferred, not required.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
• Compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams.
• Understanding of quality assurance and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-admission evaluations to determine eligibility and appropriateness of care.
• Educate patients and families about hospice services with compassion and clarity.
