Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care to terminally ill patients in various settings in St Paul, MN.

This travel position offers competitive weekly pay of $3,240, 40 hours per week, and benefits including health insurance and a 401(k). The RN will exercise clinical judgment, ensure safety, and coordinate patient care in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state where the nurse practices.
• One year experience preferred.
• CHPN credential preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort and support to terminally ill patients.
• Assume accountability for hospice patient care delivery in various settings.

The Registered Nurse - Hospice is responsible for providingcare, comfort and support to terminally ill patients. The Registered Nurse - Hospice assumes theresponsibility and accountability for the delivery of hospice patient care invarious settings. The Registered Nursedemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner with supervision. TheRegistered Nurse will also demonstrate critical thinking and performanceability in the coordination of patient care.Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountablein managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices
• One year experience preferred
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) credentialpreferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
