Job summary

ViaQuest Hospice in Muncie, IN is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time hospice care. You will provide physical and emotional support to patients and families, manage a patient/family caseload with assessments and care planning, and coordinate with physicians and the care team to ensure seamless service.

The role includes medication administration, maintaining detailed progress notes, and supervising LPNs and Hospice Aides, with travel within the service area as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active RN license.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within assigned service area.
• Supervisory experience with LPNs and Hospice Aides.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and families.
• Assume primary responsibility for a patient and family caseload including assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing processes.
• Administer and instruct medication administration.
