Job summary

ViaQuest Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend on-call coverage in the Marysville area. The role includes triaging after-hours calls, providing patient and family support, and coordinating care with the hospice team.

The successful candidate will hold an Associate's degree in Nursing, an active RN license, and be willing to travel within the service area. Comprehensive benefits and 401(k) offered with full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• RN license required; Hospice experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned service area and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Triaging phone calls and coordinating after-hours/weekend visits.
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and families.
• Manage patient caseload, including assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Administer and educate on medication administration.
• Communicate with physicians and hospice team to coordinate care.
• Supervise LPNs and Hospice Aides and document care delivery.
