Job summary

ViaQuest Hospice in Monongahela, PA seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide holistic hospice care, supporting patients and families across the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.

The role includes supervising LPNs and aides, coordinating with physicians, maintaining records, and traveling within the service area; a RN license and ADN or equivalent are required, with hospice experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license is required.
• Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assume primary responsibility for a patient/family caseload across the nursing process.
• Administer and instruct medication administration.
• Coordinate care with physicians and hospice team members.
• Maintain patient records and progress notes; supervise LPNs and aides.
