ViaQuest Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Johnstown/Windber service area. You will provide patient- and family-centered nursing care across the hospice continuum, coordinate with physicians, and supervise LPNs and aides to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assessments, care plans, medication administration, and documentation, with travel within the service area as needed.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and RN license required.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned service area; valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and families.
• Assume primary caseload for patients and families across all nursing phases.
• Administer medications and educate patients on their use.
• Coordinate with physicians and hospice team to ensure coordinated care.
• Supervise LPNs and Hospice Aides and document delivery of care.
• Maintain current patient records and progress notes.
