Job summary

Residential Home Health and Hospice in Glen Carbon, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice position providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes. This role includes a $10,000 first-year success bonus and a path for growth with a dedicated field education team.

You will join an interdisciplinary team, deliver compassionate patient-centered care, and travel to patient homes within your assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in IL
• Two years RN experience; hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license and ability to drive ~20% of your day

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom and pain management, and individualized end-of-life care planning
• Educate and support patients and families through the end-of-life journey, ensuring they feel informed, prepared, and deeply cared for
• Think critically, solve problems in real time, and ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation
• Work independently, but never alone
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work
• Two years of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care, Hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
