Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Baker City, Oregon. The RN will provide care, comfort and support to terminally ill patients and coordinate their care across settings.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, CPR as applicable, and adherence to professional standards. One year of experience and CHPN preferred; TB/health clearance per contract; 18+.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience preferred.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) credential preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort and support to terminally ill patients.
• Assume responsibility for hospice patient care delivery in various settings.
• Make clinical judgments effectively with supervision.
• Coordinate patient care with care teams.
• Ensure nursing standards are followed and manage patient care.

The Registered Nurse - Hospice is responsible for providingcare, comfort and support to terminally ill patients. The Registered Nurse - Hospice assumes theresponsibility and accountability for the delivery of hospice patient care invarious settings. The Registered Nursedemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner with supervision. TheRegistered Nurse will also demonstrate critical thinking and performanceability in the coordination of patient care.Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountablein managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

Minimum Requirements:
