Job summary

Caris HealthCare in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Hospice Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with referral sources and healthcare professionals to increase access to hospice care for terminally ill patients. You will work with the Regional Director to develop territory plans, conduct calls, and achieve market share goals while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business or related field.
• Proven sales experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies new referral sources using corporate resources and community contacts.
• Develops territory plans with Regional Director to achieve goals and execute strategies.
• Conducts at least 40 sales calls weekly to generate referrals and build partnerships.
• Maintains relationships with nursing homes, physician offices, discharge planners, and hospitals.
• Coordinates education for referral sources about hospice services to grow census.
• Keeps contracting information up to date with nursing centers and hospitals.
