Job summary

Delmar Gardens Family in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a QAPI Nurse to audit patient records and lead clinical reviews for hospice care compliance. You will compile, review, analyze and graph audit data, and maintain quality data and reports while collaborating with hospice staff to close gaps.

Experience in hospice is required; you will work with the Compliance Team to identify performance improvements and educational needs, ensuring timely documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice required.
• Attention to detail resulting in accurate outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance.
• Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Audit patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance.
• Perform accurate and timely clinical reviews to meet deadlines.
• Compile, review, analyze and graph audit data.
• Maintain quality data and reports.
• Work with hospice staff to follow up on audit results.
• Collaborate with Compliance Team to identify performance improvement issues and staff educational needs.
