Job summary

Gentiva is seeking an RN Hospice Administrator to join the leadership team. This role oversees day-to-day operations, interdisciplinary teams, and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered hospice care at an assigned location with mid-size census.

Requirements include an RN license, 2+ years hospice/home care, 3–5 years healthcare management, and strong leadership, communication, and budget skills. BSN preferred; CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment is required.
• Three to five years of healthcare sales/managerial experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience required.
• Two or more years of hospice/home care experience required.
• Meets all state-specific requirements for the Administrator role.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a mid-sized hospice program.
• Oversee clinical quality and operational performance.
• Direct interdisciplinary teams and ensure patient-centered care.
• Manage budget, finance, and office operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Develop policies in collaboration with governing bodies.
