Job summary

Altus Hospice seeks a Program Director to oversee the Hospice Program in Waco. The Hospice Director will provide leadership for agency operations with focus on growth, external market relationships, financial management, customer service and quality care delivery.

The role includes supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and working with senior management to align with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in nursing, health care, or business administration.
• Minimum of two years' healthcare management experience.
• Two years of hospice experience with Medicare/Medicaid knowledge.
• Operations or sales leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Forge strong connections with physicians, hospitals, and facilities to expand reach.
• Build the dream team with training and evaluation.
• Oversee administrative functions and local operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with laws and policies.
• Lead day-to-day hospice program management and operations.
• Implement governing body policies and procedures.
