Job summary

Pacific Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a highly experienced Hospice Community Liaison with a minimum of two years in hospice marketing. The role focuses on educating physicians and healthcare professionals about hospice services, serving as the primary contact to expand referrals, and supporting end-of-life care discussions with compassion and expertise.

Responsibilities include relationship-building, education, patient advocacy, and documenting interactions.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospice or palliative care marketing experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to convey complex information.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals to raise awareness of Pacific Hospice services.
• Education and Training: Conduct meetings, presentations, and educational sessions about hospice care and Pacific Hospice offerings.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients who may benefit from hospice care and explain referral criteria.
• Resource Management: Stay updated on hospice regulations and industry trends to address questions with accurate information.
• Communication: Serve as liaison among healthcare professionals, patients, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Relationship Expansion: Identify and engage new healthcare professionals, clinics, and hospitals to grow referrals.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of interactions and referrals for management reporting.
