Job summary

AnchorHealthLLC is seeking a Clinical Liaison to facilitate patient admissions to Hospice through marketing and education activities with hospitals, SNFs, physicians, and community resources.

The role focuses on generating leads, presenting to referral sources, and promoting Anchor Health services while upholding patient privacy and dignity in care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience in marketing, preferably hospice or healthcare.
• LVN nurse license or current LVN status is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Self-starter with ability to create own leads.
• Ability to manage a territory with limited supervision.
• Team-oriented and able to work with inter-disciplinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Generate business by building relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and other referral sources.
• Prepare and conduct calls and in-service presentations to potential referral sources.
• Participate in community programs and presentations to promote Anchor Health services.
• Promote privacy, dignity and well-being of patients.
• Foster positive public relations with patients, families and healthcare providers.
• Serve as a resource supporting hospice philosophy and organizational mission.

JobTitle/Position:Clinical Liaison

ReportsTo:ExecutiveDirector/Administrator/VP of Business Development

TheCommunity Education Liaison/Clinical Marketing Liaisonwill be responsible for facilitating patient admissions to Hospice via marketing and education activities with contracted and potentially contracted hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, respite centers, physician, and other community resources.Proven track record and strong community contacts preferred.

Some of the specific job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Generate business by creating new and maintaining existing relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, hospitals, appropriate special interest groups, discharge planners, nursing home professionals, assisted living facilities, and other potential referral sources.

• Prepare and conduct calls and In-service presentations to potential referral sources.

• Participate in community and organizational programs, making presentations and joining as a member where appropriate, to facilitate a broader knowledge of the Hospice philosophy and to promote Anchor Health services.

• Promote an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all patients.

• Promote positive public relations with patients, family members, and healthcare providers.

• Serve as a resource both internally and externally by supporting the mission and vision of the organization, particularly as it applies to palliative and end of life care.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Professional Experience:

• Experience in marketing, preferably hospice or other healthcare environment (i.e. Home Health, Long Term Care, Pharmaceuticals)

• Clinical liaison (LVN Nurse required) with strong Marketing skills and experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Self-starter with ability to create own leads.

• Able to maintain an organized approach to territory management and work with limited supervision.

• Able to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team.

• Able to meet and exceed monthly goals.

• Able to support and promote the Hospice philosophy to referral sources in the medical industry
