Job summary

VA Central Iowa Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) to provide hospice/palliative care within Rehabilitation and Extended Care (REC) Service. The NP will practice with emphasis on quality and timely care, offering advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management to Veterans.

Qualifications

• Education: post-master's certificate or master's or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Must be graduate of a school of professional nursing approved and accredited by ACEN/CCNE.
• License: active, current APN license to practice as an NP in the U.S.
• Basic Board Certification in one of: FNP, ANP, AGPCNP, ACNP, AGACNP, or GNP.

• Provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management.
