Job summary

The VA Central Iowa Healthcare System is recruiting for a full-time Physician - Hospice/Palliative Care. The incumbent will be a key member of clinical oversight within the Rehabilitation and Extended Care Service Line and will oversee PHC programs across inpatient, outpatient, and purchased settings.

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, current US medical license, and have completed an approved residency leading to board eligibility. Preference for Hospice/Palliative Care experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and quality oversight of VA's Palliative and Hospice Care programs across inpatient, outpatient, and purchased settings.
• Serve as a key member of clinical oversight within the Rehabilitation and Extended Care Service Line.
