Job summary

Ennoble Care in New Jersey is seeking a Full-Time Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to serve terminally ill patients in Cape May, Cumberland and Atlantic counties. The RN will collaborate with physicians, triage calls, perform home visits, administer medications, provide emotional support, and assist families with paperwork while prioritizing patient comfort and dignity.

A NJ RN license and hospice experience are preferred; on-call scheduling supports compassionate end-of-life care and continuity

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure in NJ.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Excellent assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities with knowledge of case management.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care.
• Triage phone calls.
• Make visits to the patient as needed to evaluate their condition.
• Provide support and comfort according to patient’s needs.
• Work with caregivers to plan and execute patient care.
• Assist with administering medications.
• Alleviate end-of-life symptoms.
• Notify a doctor if patient condition changes.
• Assist patients and families with paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Provide post-mortem support to relatives.
