Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Hospice-Petoskey team. The role involves contributing to patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse and maintaining an environment conducive to patient well-being.

Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, on days shift, with 80 scheduled bi-weekly hours. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Michigan CNA certification, BLS within the first week, and a valid Michigan driver's license with current

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
State Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
BLS certification required within first week of hire.
Valid Michigan driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required.
Six months of experience with a variety of patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN to identify and attain treatment goals.
Delivers compassionate support and assistance to patients and families.
Provides physical assistance for daily activities and personal hygiene (bathing, feeding, dressing, mobility).
Ensures compliance with health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Maintains a safe and clean environment and follows infection control policies.
Performs other related job duties as requested.
