Job summary

Carolina Caring is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide hospice care at our Newton and Sherrills Ford Hospice Houses. This full-time role features three 12-hour night shifts with no weekend requirements, and involves two days at the Catawba Valley site and one day at the Sherrills Ford site.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred), current North Carolina nursing license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; NC license required; CPR certification.
• One to three years of clinical experience preferred; hospice or home health preferred.
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required; CPR certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice care at Newton and Sherrills Ford Hospice Houses.
• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week with no weekend requirements.
• Support low nurse-to-patient ratios and quality of life for patients and families.
