Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and MT-BC certification (current).
• Minimum 5 years' hospice music therapy experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong emotional maturity and healthy professional boundaries with vulnerable populations.
• Ability to educate and advocate for music therapy across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate continuing education for the music therapy team.
• Oversee internship program development, supervision, and evaluation.
• Screen, interview, and hire music therapists with leadership.
• Ensure orientation competencies and EMR training for new staff.
• Provide ongoing supervision and performance evaluations.
• Assist in resolving personnel issues and workers' compensation matters.
• Provide caseload coverage when staff are on leave or entering new territories.
• Co-facilitate regional meetings with music therapy leadership.
