Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Music with concentration in Music Therapy and CBMT certification required.
• Master's Degree in Music Therapy preferred.
• Previous experience with terminally ill patients is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide music therapy assessments and services to hospice patients and families.
• Develop individualized music therapy plans of care.
• Use creative therapeutic activities to improve or maintain mental and physical function and quality of life.
• Implement music therapy interventions within the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Document all services in the clinical record and participate in IDG meetings.
• Support bereavement activities and provide bereavement counseling as needed.
