Job summary

Moments Hospice is seeking a Music Therapist to lead and assist patients in personalized music therapy interventions, aimed at reducing anxiety, depression, isolation and agitation. You will educate the clinical team on therapy appropriateness and keep timely records within 24 hours of sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Music Practitioner or graduate of a program focused on music as an intervention for health and wellness
• Board Certified Music Therapist (CBMT)
• Musical intelligence and mastery of at least one instrument
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort providing specialized care to the terminally ill
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations (Vulnerable Adult/Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to Know)
• Valid Driver's license

Responsibilities
