Qualifications

• Experience as a music practitioner or graduate focused on music as health intervention.
• Board certified as a music therapist (CBMT).
• Musical proficiency on at least one instrument.
• Understanding hospice philosophy and comfort providing specialized end-of-life care.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist patients in music therapy interventions.
• Reduce symptoms like anxiety, depression, isolation, agitation through music.
• Educate the clinical team on music therapy appropriateness and contraindications.
• Maintain accurate records within 24 hours of sessions.
