Job summary

Suncrest Hospice in Ohio seeks a licensed massage therapist to provide professional massage services to hospice patients as part of the care plan.

You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, deliver therapeutic massage per physician orders, educate patients and families, and document outcomes in the electronic chart. Join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Current certification or license required by state law.
• One year of massage therapy experience preferred.
• Proof of professional liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and required vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments, evaluations, and establishes a plan and goals for massage therapy.
• Performs massage therapy treatments as prescribed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice team.
• Instructs patients, family and staff in the use of massage therapy.
• Reports on client's response to treatment or any changes in condition.
• Documents services delivered using electronic methods on day of service.
• Attends team conferences upon request.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities, as requested.

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massage therapy services to hospice patients according to their plan of care. Duties include but are not limited to:
