Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Massage Therapist to deliver massage therapy to hospice patients as part of their plan of care. The role includes assessments, treatment, education for patients and families, and documentation of services provided.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited massage therapy program, state license or certification, and at least one year of massage experience preferred. Reliable transportation and insurance are required.

• Proof of professional liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and required vehicle insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Performs assessments, evaluations and establishes goals for massage therapy.
• Documents services delivered using electronic methods on day of service.
• Attends team conferences and participates in Performance Improvement activities.

Massage Therapist

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massage therapy services to hospice patients according to their plan of care. Duties include but are not limited to

• Performs assessments, evaluations, and establishes a plan and goals for massage therapy.
• Performs massage therapy treatments as prescribed by the Attending Physician and the Suncrest Hospice team.
• Instructs patients, family and staff in the use of massage therapy.
• Reports on client's response to treatment or any changes in condition.
• Documents services delivered using electronic methods on day of service.
• Attends team conferences upon request.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities, as requested.
