Job summary

Suncrest Hospice is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to provide hospice massage services to patients per the plan of care. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment delivery, patient and family instruction, and documentation. Must be licensed in the state, with liability insurance and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice massage therapy in state of practice.
• One year of massage therapy experience preferred.
• Proof of professional liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and required vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments, evaluations, and establishes a plan and goals for massage therapy.
• Performs massage therapy treatments as prescribed by Attending Physician and Suncrest Hospice team.
• Instructs patients, family and staff in the use of massage therapy.
• Reports on client’s response to treatment or any changes in condition.
• Documents services delivered using electronic methods on day of service.
• Attends team conferences upon request.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities, as requested.
