Job summary

Interim HealthCare of the Twin Cities is seeking a Hospice Massage Therapist to provide comfort touch massages in patients' homes within our service area. Travel is required to visit patients one-on-one and deliver compassionate care aligned with the care plan.

The role offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, PTO, and retirement options. Prior hospice massage experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed post-secondary coursework from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy.
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within geographic area serviced by the office; reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing and identifying patient needs.
• Provide comfort touch massage therapy services to hospice patients per physician orders and care plan.
• Complete and submit accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services.

As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you will have a meaningful role and make a difference in the lives of our patients to help find comfort when it's needed most. Travel within Interim HealthCare's service area to visit patients one on one in their home environment and provide comfort touch massages.

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Range: $24.44 - $29.71

Some functions of what you would do as a Hospice Massage Therapist

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
• Providecomfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
• Complete and submit accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.

A few must-haves for this position:

• Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy.
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by the office. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance is required.
