Job summary

Suite Living Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Massage Therapist to support hospice patients in their homes and care settings across the Minneapolis/St. Paul South Metro area. The role emphasizes gentle, individualized massage to improve comfort and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have Minnesota massage therapy licensure, completed therapy program, and excellent communication skills. Travel within the service area and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Minnesota massage therapy license/certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Experience with hospice, palliative care, geriatrics, or medically fragile populations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic massage services to hospice patients based on physician orders.
• Assess patient comfort levels and adapt techniques for hospice care.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and the hospice care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on massage therapy benefits for comfort and symptom management.
• Adhere to company policies, professional standards, and state regulations.
• Travel to patient locations within the Minneapolis/St. Paul South Metro service area.
