Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• IV certification required at time of hire; dates apply.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide nursing tasks to patients and families per plan of care.
• Demonstrate clinical skills including medication administration and symptom management.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to RN.
• Document per policy in medical records.
• May be assigned to work at various locations during emergencies to ensure continuity of services.
