Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• IV certification required at time of hire with deadline dates.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals from AHA or Red Cross.
• BLS deadlines for Hope/Capital Caring employees as noted.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide nursing tasks to patients and families per plan of care.
• Demonstrate clinical skills including medication administration and symptom management.
• Observe patients for changes and report to RN.
• Document per policy in medical records.
• May be required to report to work during emergencies to ensure continuity of services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
