Job summary

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Experience in hospice, hospice or medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Understanding hospice philosophy and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work flexible hours and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care related to end-of-life and hospice services.
• Collaborate with hospice aides and therapists and clinical supervisors to support patient care.
• Maintain and prepare equipment and supplies following aseptic techniques.
• Administer pain and symptom management interventions.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and medications.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
• Perform delegated duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
