Job summary

Bluegrass Care Navigators seeks an Inpatient Hospice RN to deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care in inpatient hospice units and hospital settings. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with physician orders and the hospice plan of care, including symptom management and end-of-life support for patients and families.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, a current Kentucky RN license, CPR certification, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky.
• Minimum of two years general nursing experience; hospice/home health preferred.
• CPR certification and ability to manage emotionally challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in inpatient hospice unit and hospital settings.
• Perform patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care per plan of care.
• Educate patients and families on end-of-life care and symptom management.
