Job summary

Center4Hospice is seeking a compassionate CNA for the Hospice Inpatient Unit in the Mishawaka/Elkhart area. The role runs 7a-7p, full-time, non-exempt, with a Monday-Friday day shift pattern of 3 days per week as indicated.

You will provide patient care under RN supervision, document care, and support patients and families throughout their stay. Required Indiana CNA certification is preferred; prior Home Health Aide experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Prior training and experience as a Home Health Aide is required with Indiana certification as a Nurse Aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and services to patients according to the care plan or as approved by the RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living as directed: bed making, meal prep, light cleaning.
• Offers support and encouragement to patients and families.
• Maintains daily documentation of patient care on appropriate forms.
