Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, on-site work at Lippincott Drive in New Jersey. The RN will deliver hospice care in patients’ homes, assess and monitor conditions, manage pain and symptoms, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include NJ RN license and 2-3 years of nursing, with hospice experience preferred. The role includes on-call responsibilities and travel within the state, with competitive compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience required; hospice experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation for home-based hospice care.
• Triage, monitor patient condition, educate patients and families, and coordinate with interprofessional team.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care to ensure comfort and symptom relief.
• Communicate significant changes to physicians and care team; participate in on-call coverage and weekends as required.
