Job summary

VITAS Healthcare seeks an experienced home care registered nurse (RN) to ensure hospice patients are comfortable and to build compassionate connections with their families.

You will work in patients' homes or in care settings, visiting 4–6 patients per day and joining an interdisciplinary team weekly to coordinate holistic support.

A current RN license in the state, at least two years in hospice or home health, and a can-do attitude are required; equal licensure may be considered.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health in the last five years.
• Equivalent experience or licensure may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care to patients in home settings.
• Build compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team during weekly visits.
