Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure hospice patients remain comfortable and to build compassionate connections with families in their homes or facilities.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, visiting 4–6 patients daily, and guide families through end-of-life care with dignity and clarity.

Required CA RN license and at least two years in hospice or home health; equivalent licensure is considered.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice nursing in the state where the program is located.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health in the last five years.
• Equivalent experience or licensure may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice nursing care to patients in home or facility settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.
• Make 4–6 home visits per day and ensure patient comfort and dignity.
