Job summary

Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide role performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
  • Current CNA license with active status.
  • BLS certification or able to obtain within 30 days.
  • Valid driver's license with vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home care tasks under RN supervision to support physical, social, and emotional health.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.

Summary

Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide role performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Valid Driver’s license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide preferred.

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part‑time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full‑time equivalent (FTE).
