Job summary

Ashealthnet in Muncie, IN is seeking a Community Educator to inform healthcare professionals about hospice and homecare services and to represent the company in the community. The CE will pursue and maintain accounts across hospitals, rehab centers, and long-term care facilities, supporting patient transitions through care settings.

You will educate clients and staff, coordinate referrals, and work to meet annual targets while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or 4 years of healthcare sales experience.
• Proven sales track record with ability to meet targets.
• Ability to educate healthcare professionals and build relationships.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid or home healthcare policies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers about Ashealthnet services (home health, hospice).
• Develop and maintain relationships with surrounding healthcare professionals.
• Create community awareness of home healthcare services.
• Network with business organizations and coordinate referrals.
• Coordinate new referral admission to ease transitions with internal staff.
• Follow up on referrals and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
