Job summary

Ashealthnet is seeking a Community Educator in Bloomington, IN. The role focuses on educating healthcare professionals about home healthcare services, building and maintaining relationships, and expanding the company’s referral network within the local community.

You will coordinate educational programs, support discharge planning with care teams, and work toward meeting annual outreach targets while representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or 4 years healthcare sales experience.
• Proven sales record and ability to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare professionals about the Company services (physician offices, long-term care, rehabs, hospitals).
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in surrounding communities.
• Create awareness of home healthcare services in the community.
• Network and attend business organizations on behalf of the Company.
• Develop and organize educational programs for the community and healthcare workers.
• Maintain existing accounts and educate clients for services.
• Coordinate new referral admission processes with internal staff.
• Follow up with referrals to assess service progress via calls, letters, or visits.
• Prepare weekly marketing reports for supervisor and monthly expense reports.
• Set weekly, monthly and yearly goals for new accounts and referrals.
